Nobody reads the dashboard.
DeckStory reads your Shopify, analytics and advertising data for you, and sends one short deck to your inbox every Monday morning. Styled in your brand. Written in plain English.
What arrives
One deck a week, on a schedule you choose. It covers what moved, why it probably moved, and what is worth looking at next. Your targets and your campaign calendar sit on the same page as the numbers, so a change has context rather than just a percentage next to it.
It is built to be read in five minutes by someone who is not an analyst, and forwarded to someone who is even busier.
Where the numbers come from
You connect the accounts you already have. DeckStory reads from them on a schedule and never writes anything back.
- Shopify
- Store-level revenue, orders and product performance.
- Google Analytics 4
- Sessions, channels and conversion rates, read through the Google Analytics Data API.
- Google Ads
- Campaign spend, clicks and conversions for the advertising accounts you authorise, read through the Google Ads API.
- Meta Ads
- Campaign spend and results, read through the Meta Marketing API.
- Klaviyo
- Campaign and flow performance at the aggregate level.
- Microsoft Clarity
- Aggregated on-site behaviour, such as scroll depth and rage clicks.
What DeckStory never touches
The service runs on totals and averages. It does not need to know anything about an individual person, and it is built so that it cannot.
- No customer names, email addresses, postal addresses or phone numbers
- No individual order records or customer profiles
- No payment or card data
- No raw, event-level analytics data
- No session recordings identifying a person
Data is stored on Google Cloud Platform in London. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
Who it is for
Shopify brands large enough to need an answer every week, but without an analyst on the payroll to produce one. In practice that means the Head of Ecommerce, or the founder who is still doing that job themselves.
Getting access
DeckStory is not self-service. There is no public sign-up. While it is in private pilot, access is arranged directly, one brand at a time, so that every deck can be read before it is sent.
